The previous website for the Eye hospital was very old and did not provide all the information available at that time. It was just a simple website with Services listed. Hospital has more than 30 branches spread across South India and wanted to provide information about all these branches.
- We have recommended a mixture of static and dynamic pages for the website, with Services and Academic information being static pages and Branches, Doctors, Gallery & Videos being dynamic sections. We have added Appointments online and made finding a Doctor very easy with a simple Search.
- Various services rendered by the Hospital are added as static pages. These pages include an entire description of the procedure, along with relevant videos and images. A list of all equipment available is also detailed with appropriate images to educate the common user.
- Hospital has a lot of training videos they want to bring online and these videos are proprietary, hence cannot be hosted on sites such as Youtube. We customized a Video plugin to play videos from local sources and to make it easy for the users to navigate from one video to other. A custom image management plugin was created to manage photos in various categories and subcategories. The thumbnails are listed under each section and large photos are displayed in a lightbox.
- Hospital has a number of branches in India and Abroad and all these are added dynamically. The information available for each Branch include,
