One of the leading AC Brand in India did not have a proper web presence. They had a static website where the new models and model information are to be updated by Designers because these are done in the code directly.
We have suggested them a dynamic system where the content can be updated by anyone and product information can be managed in a better way. Client also wanted to develop an online store to reach the retail customers directly in addition to their presence in the retail stores.
So, we have built the website with Magento, open source e-commerce platform. Magento is selected based on the proven track record, used by thousands of merchants worldwide and option to extend beyond the default functionality. Website is built inline with their other marketing strategies like Print media using the same elements and color scheme.
Client uses a specific Payment Gateway from a Bank which is not supported by Magento extensions already available. We developed an extension to integrate this Gateway with Magento order processing, along with Invoice generation and payment status update notifications. This extension is tested and approved by Gateway’s approval team and website is fully functional to accept online payments.
In one month after the website in made live, average user count is 2000+ every day as seen from the attached image and generating about 4-5 orders every day. The client is one of the first large brand name to have their own online store and definitely the first to have a mobile compatible online store in India. We are proud to help them get there.
